I finally hemmed the sleeves and bottom of this shirt. I made it last Monday while at home with my now 8 year old. He wasn't feeling well that day. I sewed while he watched tv and read. By late morning he felt better and then told me everything I ever wanted to know about Star Wars! We actually enjoyed our sewing/sick day together.
I ordered this fabric because I wanted a good brown shirt. I was disappointed when the fabric arrived as it wasn't exactly what I envisioned. I wanted a slightly thicker fabric. Plus, this one gets a little shine to it when you iron it wrong.
The pattern is Jalie 2910. This is the second time I have made it, you can see the first one here. I have become a little obsessed with Jalie patterns!!
I made a second Jalie shirt that same day. I hemmed it today also. I'll post it this weekend also.

ReplyDeleteI have bought them through pattern review. They were on sale for 410.80 and then there is free shipping when you spend $25.00. That ended up being cheaper than anywhere else I could find. And no, Jalie patterns aren't sold anywhere near me!
