MOT #1,2

Hi!

There wasn't much sewing going on over here due to a broken sewing machine.  :(  However, I really wanted to make some tops so I did some serging and handsewing to come up with these two tops.  Also, I got to use some old t-shirts that were laying around.  :)

There both based off of tops in T-shirt Makeovers by the Sistahs of Harlem.  For the fall, I think I'll wear the ruffled tank as shown (with a long-sleeve) and the one-shoulder tank will most likely not be paired with a long-sleeve (it'll probably be worn alone with a jacket).

Thanks, Faye, for putting this all together!  I've enjoyed seeing everyone's tops and have been inspired to make more once my machine is up and running!  Thanks everyone for being inspiring!

  1. Great refashioned tops! Hope you get your machine back soon. I hate to be parted from my machine.

  2. Very nice refashions! I particularly like the black one (because of the ruffles, of course :-))
